About The Founder

Sean Taylor is a freelance IT consultant working with organizations which provide human services or pursue social justice. He is an activist, designer, project manager, ally, and instructional technologist based in Austin, Texas.

Sean consults with nonprofit organizations around the country to create equity, alleviate systemic hardships, and unmake systems of oppression. His recent work in abortion rights has helped organizations like Fund Texas Choice, Lilith Fund, and the Abortion Access Front. He also has a desire to undo white supremacy, end homelessness, protect immigrants, and increase access to education.

Creativity and compassion are at the heart of Sean’s work and always have been. He has a varied background  – trained musician, teacher, instructional designer, and project manager. No matter the field, though, he approaches the challenges of work with empathy toward clients and communities and openness to solutions. Many times he finds that two problems can solve each other.

Success isn’t growth and profit for Sean. Rather it is having enough. With extra, he hopes to reinvest in IT talent from the communities he serves. He dreams of mentoring aspiring IT professionals who are women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and immigrants. Success would be them putting him out of business.
